The U.S. Under-19 men’s national team will kick off a busy 2023 with its first training camp of the new year this month.
Marko Mitrovic announced a 23-player camp roster on Friday, which will run from July 5-13 at the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida. All 23 players are age-eligible for this summer’s 2023 FIFA Under-20 World Cup in Indonesia.
Union Berlin forward Malick Sanogo, D.C. United forward Kristian Fletcher, and Colorado Rapids forward Darren Yapi headline the 23 players called into camp. A total of seven players return from the Under-19’s impressive showing at September’s Slovenia Nations Cup, where the Americans defeated Malta, Croatia and Scotland.
10 players will be making their Under-19 debuts in this camp including Sanogo, Yapi, and eight others.
