The Terrapins enter the matchup after losing 43-30 to the Ohio State Buckeyes in their last game on November 19. The Scarlet Knights’ last game ended in a 55-10 loss to the Penn State Nittany Lions. Against the Buckeyes, Taulia Tagovailoa led the Terps with 293 yards on 26-of-36 passing (72.2%) for two touchdowns and no interceptions. Dontay Demus Jr. had five receptions for 67 yards (13.4 per catch) against the Buckeyes. Gavin Wimsatt threw for 122 yards for the Scarlet Knights against the Nittany Lions, going 10-for-29 (34.5%) with one touchdown and one interception. Rashad Rochelle carried the ball eight times for 25 yards. He caught one pass for -2 yards. Sean Ryan picked up 76 yards through the air after two catches (on five targets).
